Dr Sibiya qualified from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, before obtaining a Diploma in Child Health from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.
Dr Sibiya qualified from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, before obtaining a Diploma in Child Health from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. She then went on to achieve her specialist paediatrics qualification at the College of Paediatricians of South Africa (FCPaed [SA]), from the University of Witwatersrand.
As a mother herself, she understands the stresses that come with dealing with a sick child and therefore uses her knowledge, experience and expertise to deliver a personalised service in treating sick children .She specialises in a broad range of paediatric medicine with a special interest in neonatology and infectious diseases.
